Mr. Perna maintains civil and criminal practices, and focuses on litigating personal injury cases on behalf of insurance companies. His civil experience includes contract dispute, car accident, and premises liability matters. Mr. Perna represents criminal defendants in cases ranging from minor traffic offenses, DUI/DWI, expungements, and initial appearances to felonies. Mr. Perna has experience in alternative dispute resolution and litigation in state and federal courts.
Mr. Perna is a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he was the Hybrid Editor for the Journal of Land and Development, Vice President of the Real Estate Law Association, and a Rule 16 State’s Attorney in the Carroll County State’s Attorney’s Office. During law school, Mr. Perna clerked at a construction law firm in Baltimore, Maryland, where he worked on complex construction defect litigation.
